Los Angeles – UPI

Another actor from the original Boy Meets World will join the cast of the show's upcoming sequel. E! News reports that actor Lee Norris will reprise his role as Minkus for the new television series, Girl Meets World. Minkus was characters Cory, Topanga and Shawns' nerdy classmate, who went missing for years after Cory and Shawn willed him to disappear in an episode of Boy Meets World. He later turned up for high school graduation in the original series, and said he had been "over there" at the other part of school all along. "I've had a great time being back on the set with some of my old friends," Norris said. "It still amazes me how many people love and remember Minkus, and I'm excited for the fans to catch up with him after all these years." The actor has kept busy since, and appeared as Marvin "Mouth" McFadden for all nine seasons of One Tree Hill. Norris will join William Daniels as Mr. Feeny for their respective cameos in the show. Girl Meets World will star 12-year-old actress Rowan Blanchard as Riley Matthews, the daughter of Boy Meets World lead characters Cory and Topanga. Actors Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel will reprise their roles as Cory and Topanga for the series, and the show will focus on Riley as she navigates the challenges of teenage life. Anticipation for the new series is high among Boy Meets World fans, and Disney has already ordered twenty-one episodes of the show. Girl Meets World will debut this summer.
