Financial crisis threatens ‘The Sea and the Thirsty’

The problems facing the series ‘The Sea and The Thirsty’ continue, and threaten its presentation during Ramadan. Assistant director Ahmed Fahmi Abdel Hamid filed a complaint to the police, against the producer Adel Hosni for non-receipt of his payment.  In addition the series' stylist issued an 'apology' saying that she would not continue work on the series for the same reason.  She was apparently replaced by a wardrobe mistress. ‘The Sea and the Thirsty’ series stars Rola Saad, Ragaa El Geddawy, Ahmed Fahmy, Ahmed El Samahy, Marwa El Khatib, Rania Naguib, Eman Abu El Dahab, Aida Ghoneim and Doaa Ahmed.  Story, scenario and dialogue are by Mohamed El Gheity, and the series is  directed by Wael Fahmi Abdel Hamid and produced by Dr Adel Hosni.
