Tokyo stocks fall 0.85% after US holds fire on rate rise

Tokyo shares opened 0.85 percent lower on Friday, following the US Federal Reserve's decision to leave interest rates unchanged near zero on concerns about the global economy.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index at the Tokyo Stock Exchange lost 156.79 points to 18,275.48 in the first minutes of trading.
