China's industrial output rose 6.8 percent in March, the government said Friday, accelerating from the previous month and beating expectations in a positive signal for the world's second-largest economy. Retail sales rose 10.5 percent in March year-on-year in March the National Bureau of Statistics said, while fixed asset investment rose 10.7 percent from a year earlier in the first quarter. |
