Uzbekistan's President Islam Karimov will be buried Saturday, state television said after announcing the death of the 78-year-old strongman leader. A state television presenter said that a government commission led by Prime Minister Shavkat Mirziyoyev will organise his burial "in the city of Samarkand on September 3" and declare three days of national mourning. |
