The largest political party in Brazil, the PMDB, said Saturday it will decide within 30 days whether to break with embattled President Dilma Rousseff's coalition.

"The government has made bad decisions. It is sinking. The PMDB cannot sink with it," PMDB lawmaker Osmar Terra told AFP, saying the party had given itself a month to "find the best exit" from the political crisis engulfing Brazil.
