The EU on Saturday called on Israel and Jordan to work together to "ensure security for all" in Jerusalem's Old City after a series of violent confrontations in recent days.
"We encourage Israel and Jordan to work together to find solutions that ensure security for all," the European Union said in a statement.
The comments come after a flare up of violence between Israeli security forces and Palestinians over new security measures at a Jerusalem holy site of which Jordan is the custodian.
