EU 'extremely worried' over Turkey's arrest of Kurdish MPs

The EU is extremely concerned by Turkey's arrest of leaders and MPs from the country's main pro-Kurdish party and has contacted Ankara on the issue, the bloc's foreign affairs head Federica Mogherini said Friday.
"Extremely worried for arrest of @hdpdemirtas & other @HDPgenelmerkezi MPs. In contact with authorities. Called EU ambassadors meeting in Ankara," Mogerhini tweeted.
