Burundi president in country, not yet in capital after coup

Burundi's President Pierre Nkurunziza has yet to return to the capital following a failed coup attempt but is in the country in his home town in the north, close aides said Friday.
"He arrived yesterday at Ngozi. It is from here that he will address the nation," a close aide to the president said, contradicting earlier statement from presidential officials that Nkurunziza had returned to Bujumbura.
