Investment opportunities available in the IT field were presented by the communications and IT minister in a round table as part of the EEDC.
Khaled Negm said the private sector will fund 88 percent of the planned projects in his sector.
Up to 120 EGP billion of investments are required to carry out these plans, said the minister who estimated the IT growth in 2014 at 13 percent.
The communications and IT sector has contributed by 4.8 percent to the GDP, according to the minister.
The minister had talks the chiefs of world companies attending the conference.
