Sources close to Iraqi singer Kazem Al Saher revealed that the Iraqi superstar was surprised of the decision taken in Saudi Arabia to cancel the two concerts in which he was scheduled to participate in both Jeddah and Riyadh.
The sources said that the high-profile Arab singer has not been formally informed of the decision by the Saudi authorities amid speculation that the decision was taken on political basis against the backdrop of his visit to Qatar to participate in a concert there.
The sources stressed that Kazem was keen to contact with Saudi authorities to know the reasons of the decision, saying that he was informed that his visit to Doha has no relation with the decision to cancel the concerts.
