Osbourne to host NewNowNext awards

British television personality Kelly Osbourne is to serve as host of the NewNowNext Awards ceremony in Hollywood, Logo said Wednesday. The 90-minute prize presentation, honoring who and what are on the verge of a pop-culture explosion, is to air on the cable network April 9. It is to tape at the Avalon in Hollywood April 5. Adam Lambert and "Brink-of-Fame: Music Artist" nominee Neon Hitch also are to perform on this year's show. "As a television personality, singer, actress, author, fashion designer and model, Kelly Osbourne's diverse talents have always kept her at the forefront of what's hot in pop culture. Always one step ahead of the curve, daring and outspoken in both her personal style and professional endeavors, the NewNowNext Awards will give Osbourne the opportunity to bring her always outrageous, personal touch to TV's hottest awards show," Logo said in a news release.
