Al Ahly midfielder Abdullah El-Said revealed that he underwent a rehabilitation program during the last period, which helped to recover quickly and became ready to play the next match.
He explained that he suffered from an injury in his leg, and he was not exhausted as some media reports claimed, adding that his injury prevented him from participating in last two games against Ismaili and Mokawelon.
El-Said refuted rumors about frequent injuries in the last period, pointing out that he suffered from the high pressure during the last matches with Al Ahly and the national team. He added that he once was injured in his shoulder and this injury prevented him from participating in several matches during the last season.
El-Said said: "the continuous games affect all players and add more pressure on us, but eventually we got use to this system and normal."
In regard with the African Cup of Nations, El-Said said that he overcame that period and started to focus on the Egyptian league, adding "Of Course, I wanted to win the African title and please the Egyptian people, but I now focus on winning the league title and Egypt Cup as well as the African Champions with Al Ahly."
