Egypt's Nour el Sherbini qualified for the second round of the 2017 US Open, which is part of the Professional Squash Association (PSA) World Series tournament.
Early Sunday, Sherbini dismantled Mariam Metwally 3-0.
Sheribini is scheduled to face England's Victoria Lust in the second round.
Egypt's Salma Hana Ibrahim - World No.19 - surprisingly defeated England's Sarah-Jane Perry, World No. 7, 3-1, elbowing Perry off the first round.
