Jordan condemns terrorist attack in New York

The Government of Jordan has condemned the cowardly terrorist attack in Manhattan, New York, that killed and injured a number of innocent people.
The Jordan News Agency, Petra, quoted State Minister for Media Affairs, Mohammad Momani, as saying that such cowardly terrorist attacks affirm the dark ideologies and the criminal mindset of terrorists.
Momani, who is also the government spokesperson, stressed the need for concerted efforts to fight these ideologies by all means, offering the government's condolences to the US government and the families of the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
