Arab League Chief condemns Somalia terror attack
Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheet

Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheet condemned the attack which was perpetrated by the terrorist Somali Al-Shabab group, targeting the military convoy of the newly-appointed Somali Armed Forces commander Brigadier-General Mohamed Ahmed Jamali, leaving scores of people dead and injured.
He reiterated the commitment of the Arab League to support the efforts of the Somali Government to maintain security and stability in the country and develop the capabilities of its security and military forces, as announced by President Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed Farmajo.
