Saudi Ambassador to Bahrain, Dr. Abdulla bin Abdul-Malik
Manama - Arab Today

Saudi Ambassador to Bahrain, Dr. Abdulla bin Abdul-Malik Al-Shaikh has strongly condemned and denounced the targeting of the Saudi Capital, Riyadh, by a ballistic missile which was launched from Yemen, and intercepted by the Saudi air defences, causing no injuries.

He stressed that the brutal and cowardly attack will not be able to undermine Saudi Arabia’s security, stability and unity.

In a statement to the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), the envoy welcomed the recent appointments made the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

He also welcomed the resolutions of the Anti-Corruption Committee, formed as per a royal order, and chaired by the Crown Prince, HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, stressing his country’s keenness on combating corruption.

Ambassador Al-Shaikh said that the Saudi Embassy’s "Diwaniya" will be open for guests on Wednesday evening at the Embassy’s headquarters in the Diplomatic Area, noting that social communication and meetings between brothers are deep-rooted traditions across GCC societies that reflect cohesion and interaction between officials and both the citizens and residents.
