The UAE is betting on the empowerment of youth to make the future, H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has stated, affirming that the UAE youth deserve the respect placed on their creativity and decision-making capabilities.

Sheikh Hazza's remarks coincide with an announcement by the Emirates Youth Council and Abu Dhabi Executive Council's to set up the 2nd edition of the Abu Dhabi Youth Council.

"The UAE youth have proved they are creative enough in all the tasks they have performed and those they have been entrusted with, and we are responsible for providing them with all the tools and instruments that make their dreams come true," added Sheikh Hazza.

"The rapid technological advancements taking place in our modern world entail an innovative way of thinking and working things out. And this is exactly what we are witnessing our youth are doing. Therefore the unlimited state support given thanks the wise leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, ensures sustained successes and constant achievements for them and for the present and future of our beloved homeland."

Marking the same occasion, Shamma bint Sohail Faris AlMazrui, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, and Chairperson of the Emirates Youth Council, said "Our youth have always proved to be trustworthy and managed to surpasses all expectations in all the enterprises they have worked on. They have displayed an admirable sense of responsibility and an amazing ability to innovate, create and take initiatives in a way that has enabled them to effectively contribute to the country's developmental drive which will help our nation become the best across the whole world."

"Our local youth councils have worked for more than a year now to launch quality initiatives that support youth empowerment across the country and we hope the Abu Dhabi Youth Council will enable our youth to reach universality."

For his part, Dr. Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Secretary General of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, said the General Secretariat of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council is following best practices to provide all possible forms of support that make the UAE youth a model to be copied by the whole world.

Abu Dhabi Youth Council is comprised of seven members led by Ahmed Taleb Al Shamsi, and the membership of Ali Al Ashkhari, Ayesha Mohamed Al Humairi, Hajer Mubarak Al Madhi, Maha Ali Al Dhaheri, Mohamed Abdulla Al Harsousi, and Abdul Rahman Al Rumaithi.
