Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, affirmed that the non-registration of any violations by the National Audit Office to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is proof of the Ministry's commitment to the reform approach of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, First Deputy Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

It reflects the strict adherence of the Ministry to the laws and regulations and to the principle of transparency established by the King of Bahrain, and the insurance of the promotion of its mechanisms as a firm approach of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the belief that this is the way to achieve its aspirations and carry out its functions.

This came during a meeting with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Shaikha Rana Isa Daij Al-Khalifa, The Assistant Undersecretary for Consular Affairs, Resources & Informatics, Ambassador Khalil Yaqoob Al Khayat, and a number of directors and officials of the Ministry.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed his thanks to all those who contributed to this achievement, which is the result of the integrated work and tireless efforts of the Ministry’s employees, and reflects the degree of harmony in work, clarity of vision and objectives, and the addressment of the shortcomings and support of the strengths to continue to more advanced stages.

The Minister expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation for the strenuous efforts exerted by the National Audit Office in carrying out its noble mission to establish transparency and follow-up on the adherence to laws and regulations in a professional manner and in the interest of the public, affirming that close cooperation with the Office will remain a key feature of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to enhance the achievements of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
