Dubai - Arab Today

The Dubai Press Club, the organiser of the 4th Emirati Media Forum (EMF), announced on Mondaythat registration for the 4th edition of the event is open, according to the Government of Dubai Media Office.

. Held under the patronage of Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Forum will be held on November 6th 2017 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. A range of key decision makers and heads of local and regional media institutions will take part in the Forum.

On this occasion, Maitha Buhumaid, Acting Director of the Dubai Press Club (DPC), said that the organising committee of EMF invites those interested in participating in the event to register on the official website of EMF (http://registration.dpc.org.ae).

Buhumaid added that the organising committee of the event have put in place a streamlined and hassle-free registration process as part of creating a great experience for attendees. This year’s edition invites journalists and media students as well as those interested in and working in the media sector to participate in discussions about the national role of the UAE media at a time when the region is beset with political turmoil. The Forum will look at how the media can support the influential role and position of the UAE on major regional and international issues, and play a greater part in supporting national development across sectors.

The Emirati Media Forum is considered a unique platform for dialogue between players across the media spectrum. It provides an opportunity to discuss developments in the media industry as well as local and regional issues, while providing a bridge of communication between local media organisations, journalists, experts and specialists in various fields of media, as well as the media students. It also seeks to give local media outlets insights and knowledge on how they can develop the leadership capabilities required to excel and sustain their growth.
