The cabinet approved on Thursday a maritime border demarcation agreement signed between Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

During its meeting under Prime Minister Sherif Ismail, the cabinet decided to refer the agreement to the House of Representatives in line with the constitution.

It reviewed the deal after finalizing all required preparations and procedures.

Earlier, the cabinet received a number of requests for information concerning not submitting the deal to the parliament.
