Al Azhar asserts keenness on Libyan unity

Grand Imam of Al Azhar Ahmed el Tayyib affirmed on Monday Al Azhar’s keenness on Libyan unity.
Receiving a delegation of Libyan law experts, Tayyib affirmed Al Azhar’s readiness to offer full support to Libyans in the fields of education and preaching.
Al Azhar exerts great efforts in facing extremist thoughts and terrorism via its observatory body that delivers its message via several foreign languages, Tayyib said.
Al Azhar and its moderate teaching would be able to serve the Libyan people facing terrorists thoughts, he added, voicing hope the organization would have an easier access to the Libyan community.
