Voting began Sunday in Serbia's presidential election in which Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic seeking to switch offices.The Serbians are casting ballots in 8523 polling stations, which opened early morning and will continue to work until this evening. The final results of the elections, according to the country's constitution, must be published within four days after the vote. 
Pollsters predicted that Vucic will win in the first round by collecting more than 50% of the ballots cast. The opposition has fielded 10 challengers. Surveys indicated ex-ombudsman Sasa Jankovic, former foreign minister Vuk Jeremic and Luka Maksimovic, a satirical candidate running under the alias of Ljubisa Preletacevic Beli, as the top three challengers. 
The incumbent Tomislav Nikolic bowed to pressure from Vucic and decided not to seek another 5-year term. Initial projections are expected from election monitoring agencies CeSID and CRTA within two hours after polling closes at 18:00 GMT. If no candidate receives more than 50% of the vote, then a run-off will be held on April 16.
