US State Department warns citizens against travel to Lebanon

The US State Department warned Thursday US citizens to avoid all travel to Lebanon because of ongoing safety and security concerns.
The US Alhurra news channel quoted a statement by the US State Department as saying "US citizens living and working in Lebanon should understand that they accept risks in remaining and should carefully consider those risks."
The statement urged all US citizens living and working in Lebanon to be cautious against the threat of terrorism, acts of violence and abduction in the country.
