Head of India's Institute for Defense Studies and Analyses : India won't be involved in anti-suicide war in Mideast

Head of India's Institute for Defense Studies and Analyses (IDSA), Rumel Dahiya, asserted Friday that India would not be involved in the so-called world war against terrorism in the Middle East.

Meeting with a visiting African delegation of journalists, Dahiya said his country's policy is based on non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries, referring to the current anti-terror war in Syria and Iraq.

India has now an issue with the principle named the "right of protection", especially with the outcome of intervention by a number of countries in Syria and Libya, Dhiya added. 

IDSA was established as a registered society in New Delhi on November 11, 1965. Its mission is to provide objective assessments of issues relating to national and international security.
