Handing over ceremony took place on Tuesday at the National Education and Higher Education Ministry between outgoing Minister Elias Bou Saab and new Minister Marwan Hamadeh, in the presence of heads of Ministry departments and concerned educational officials.
In his delivered word, Minister Elias Bou Saab, stressed that governance is a continuity, hoping that the new government would work on a budget that would include a new salary and rank scale which would satisfy instructors and teachers.
Minister Hamadeh, for his part, said that several challenges await the new government, hoping that parliamentary elections would be taking place on time.
He also hoped that the new government would be able to accomplish the national budget, pledging work on the realization of a salary and ranks' scale which would be satisfactory to all and takes into consideration the specifications of economy
