His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today met Ambassador Justin H. Siberell, the newly-appointed Ambassador of the United States to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at Gudaibiya Palace.

During the meeting, His Royal Highness highlighted the strength of bilateral relations between Bahrain and the US, which are built on strong foundations and shared goals.

His Royal Highness went on to praise the longstanding ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the US, emphasizing the importance of strengthening cooperation across all levels in support of shared strategic priorities.

His Royal Highness welcomed Ambassador Siberell to Bahrain, wishing him every success in his new role and expressed his full support to the furthering of ties between the two nations.

The Crown Prince also reviewed issues of common interest with the ambassador, as well as current regional and international issues. His Royal Highness highlighted the role played by the US, along with international partners and allies, in maintaining security and stability in the region and combating all forms of terrorism.


For his part, Ambassador Siberell expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness, and welcomed the Crown Prince’s interest and support in further enhancing relations between Bahrain and the United States.
