Manama - Arab Today

National Guard Chief Lt. General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa met the Pakistani Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Zubair Mahmood Hayat, on the sidelines of Manama Dialogue 2017.

The National Guard Chief stressed the deep-rooted relations between Bahrain and Pakistan and lauded Pakistan’s constant support to Bahrain in its continuous security and military efforts against foreign interference and terrorism. He also underlined Bahrain’s keenness on more cooperation with Pakistan in the defence field.
Gen. Zubair Mahmood Hayat praised the advanced relations between both countries and growing cooperation in various fields. He also expressed keenness of the Pakistani army to boost cooperation with the National Guard and the military institutions in Bahrain.
The two sides discussed issues of common interest.
