The Assistant of the President of the Republic, Engineer Ibrahim Mahmud Hammed reviewed with the World Food Program Representative in Sudan the humanitarian role could be played by Sudan to provide food security for the needy in the region .
The WFP Official who met, Wednesday, at the Republican Palace, Engineer Hammed, said in press statements that Sudan support in agricultural field will provide food items for the needy in South Sudan State, Ethiopia, Central Africa Republic and Chad .
He pointed out that the UN, WFP and Sudan give due concern to the issue of provision of food in the region .
