Cairo - Arab Today

Egypt's Mufti Shawqi Allam asserted that Dar al Ifta al Misriyyah is ready to offer all types of support to the Muslims in Singapore along with training and qualifying the muftis to face extremism.

This came during Allam's meeting Monday with Singaporean Mufti Mohamed Fatris where they discussed means of cooperation between Dar al Ifta and Singapore.

Allam said that cooperation between the countries and the institutions in the field of combating terror and extremism has become an important priority.

On the other hand, Fatris asserted that Dar al Ifta al Misriyyah is very dear to the Singaporeans.

Fatris said that Singapore is looking forward to benefiting from the expertise of Dar al Ifta in training the Singaporean muftis.
