Deputy Prime Minister His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa today received former president of South Korea Republic, Lee Myung-bak.
HH the deputy PM praised the amicable bilateral ties and the ongoing cooperation in the interest of both countries and peoples. He also commended Korea's remarkable progress and successes.
The distinguished Korean guest expressed his delight to visit Bahrain, not the Kingdom's progress in all fields, and affirming his country's keenness on boosting its bilateral cooperation ties with Bahrain. He also wished Bahrain more progress and prosperity under its Wise Leadership.
Bahrain Authority of Culture and Antiquities (BACA) president, Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa; and, Hassan Kamal, chairman of the Board of Trustees of Shaikh Ibrahim Culture and Research Centre, were also present during the meeting.
