Actress Donia Samir Ghanem loves cooperation with her family members in drama

Egyptian Actress Donia Samir Ghanem expressed her pleasure of the positive reactions she received for her new TV drama show “La La Land” currently presented during the drama season of Ramadan, saying that she extremely loves the works that discuss the problems facing the Egyptian community and the ways to resolve them in comedy framework. She stressed her keenness to perform different roles since the beginning of her career to meet the expectations of fans in all over the Arab world.
She added, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, that she misses cooperation with her sister Emmie, saying that they managed to achieve notable success during the last season when they participated together in the presentation of the TV drama show Nellie and Sherihan. She added that the condition of work this year has not provided suitable opportunity to her sister to participate in the new work.
She added that she is keen to discuss social and serious problems witnessed in the Egyptian community during the works she present, including the ambitions, family cohesion and the ways to confront the daily problems in comedy framework. She stressed the need for dealing with the problems with smile to ease the negative repercussions of them.
She praised her participation with father Samir Ghanem in the new TV drama show, saying that she extremely loves working with him, describing him as one of Egypt’s major actors in the country. She added that it is not the first time for her to work with her father, saying that she feels optimism when she deals with one of her family’s members in a drama show.
She added that she plans currently to present a single song during the coming period before recording the songs of her new album. She stressed that she is preoccupied in filming her role in the new series, stressing that she worked for hour everyday to end the series before Ramadan.
She denied what was published over her differences with the producer, saying that she keeps cordial relations with him. She revealed that large parties of the series have been filmed in Thailand.a large number of superstars participates in the series, including Samir Ghanem, Mohamed Salam, and Hamdy Al Merghani.
She expressed her respect to the Egyptian superstar Yahia Al Fakhrany, saying that he was the first actor with whom she participated in her dramatic career, saying that she follows a large number of drama works this year, including Kafer Delhab, 30 Days, and Adly Allam’s Ghosts.
