General's Humanitarian Envoy Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Muraikhi visited the Zaatari refugee camp
Amman - Arab Today

The United Nations Secretary-General's Humanitarian Envoy Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Muraikhi visited the Zaatari refugee camp in Mafraq Governate in Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
During the visit Al Muraikhi inspected the living and humanitarian conditions of the Syrian refugees in the camp to identify their needs and efforts made to them.
The Secretary-General's envoy met also with representatives of international and United Nations organizations working in the field of providing humanitarian and relief assistance for the refugees and was briefed on the plans of these organizations to meet the needs of the camp residents and ways of optimal coordination among them.
This comes on the sidelines of the UN envoy's visit to Jordan within a delegation of the United Nations General Assembly, which participated in the 28th Arab Summit which concluded Wednesday evening in the Jordanian capital of Amman.
