Curator of Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) Project Tarek Tawfik received on Sunday Indian Ambassador in Cairo Sanjay Bhattacharyya to discuss ways of boosting bilateral cooperation in the field of antiquities’ restoration.
During his inspection’s tour, the Indian ambassador showed his admiration of the GEM’s laboratories used for renovating ancient monuments, Tawfik said in a statement.
Also, the Indian diplomat expressed his wish to visit the museum following its inauguration, Tawfik added.
