Tunisian sources refuted what was raised over the killing of leader of Ansar Al Sharia militia Abu Ayad, saying that such rumors aim to distract the attention of the Tunisian and Libyan authorities away from the idea to arrest him for his terrorist crimes.

The source revealed that the wanted terrorist plans currently to infiltrate to the Tunisian territories with three of his men affiliating to Qaeda to execute more terrorist attacks inside the country during the coming period.

According to the available information, the extremist leader plans to enter Tunisia in the near future prompting the security authorities to take secret measures in coordination with other authorities to arrest him. The source stressed that Abu Ayad has not been killed stressing that such rumors are promoted by Qaeda.

The security authorities in Tunisia arrested over 10 elements during the recent period as they attempted to enter the Tunisian territories through the borders with Libya. They intensify The measures to prevent any attempt from the extremists to enter the country
