Oman praises Saudi after 'sinful' terror plot foiled

Oman has condemned a "sinful, terrorist scheme" after Saudi Arabia announced it has foiled a terrorist plot against pilgrims.
"The Sultanate condemns in the strongest terms the sinful terrorist scheme that was aimed at the holy Haram al-Sharif and its followers of pilgrims, worshipers and visitors.
"The Sultanate pays tribute to the bravery and courage of the Saudi security forces in thwarting this terrorist plot against worshipers and pilgrims in Al-Haram Mosque.
"The Sultanate confirms its stand with sister Saudi Arabia against the scourge of terrorism and the intimidation of innocent people everywhere.
"The Sultanate appreciates the efforts and services rendered by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the guests of Rahman over the year to perform the rituals easily," according to an official statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
