Minister of Trade and Industry Tareq Qabil discussed with a delegation of the Swiss company of ABB under Managing Director Chun-Yuan Gu on improving power uses and technical and vocational training.

ABB company works in the field of manufacturing electric equipment, industrial machines systems and energy and renewable energy equipment.

According to a statement by the ministry on Wednesday, the meeting took up the projects of the Swiss company in the Egyptian market and future cooperation files between the ministry and the company in the industrial domain within the coming stage.

Qabil said that the meeting took up the possibilities to benefit from the expertise of the Swiss company in the fields of technical and vocational training.

The meeting also tackled cooperation between the ministry and the company in the field of industrial digital transformation and the power capacity of the industrial engines, Qabil said.

Meanwhile, Chun-Yuan said that the company is looking forward to working on the Egyptian market in the field of boosting power efficiency in the industrial projects in order to provide energy used in the industrial sector and increase the competitiveness of the Egyptian product on the local and international markets.
