Moroccan Artist Abdel Samad Muftah Al Kheir praised the new generation of actors for their ideas and techniques, saying that they managed to provide new nature to the TV drama and cinema works. He added that the works presented during the recent years are different from the works presented during previous periods.
He added, in an interview with “Arabs Today”, that the artistic arena became rich with directors and actors in addition to technicians who provided notable new nature to the Moroccan artistic works. He signaled that Morocco currently produces over 30 films per year, describing it as a turning point in Moroccan cinema production.
He praised the role performed by the Moroccan theatre during the recent period, saying that the theatres are currently spread in different Moroccan cities. He expressed his pleasure that a Moroccan theatrical performance managed to win the Arab Award of Theatre.
He also expressed his appreciation to the Moroccan superstars with whom he participated in a number of works, saying that they performed a major role to enrich his experience as an actor and to push him forward in his career. He revealed that he aspires to work with Director Said Khalaf, saying that participation with Khalaf would enrich his career.
He stressed his pride of the role he performed during the film “Over Casablanca the Angel do not Fly”, adding that the movie enjoyed high popularity among the audience and critics. He stressed that the Moroccan newspapers allocated large spaces to discuss the issues raised during the film. He added that the film gained over 30 national and international awards not only in Morocco but also in a number of international festivals.
He called those artists who criticize the work of National Syndicate of Moroccan Playwrights, calling them for adopting more practical and optimistic approach during the coming period, saying that the syndicate is keen to exert more efforts to develop the situation of those people who work in this field.
He added that he is keen to diversify his works to meet the aspirations of his fans, saying that the actor should not appear in the same image in his different works. He added that he is scheduled to participate in a new singing play. He expressed his aspiration that his new work will gain the satisfaction of his fans, adding that a number of Moroccan superstars will participate in the play, including Fatima Bennasser and Donia Boutazot.
