Lebanese singer Qamar expressed resentment over the criticism of Egyptian high-profile musician Helmy Baker to her latest English song “Kiss My Lips”, saying that such a song comes to express the trend of the current generation. She expressed her appreciation to the Egyptian musician, while stressed that he should take into account the current trends to be able to keep up with the time.

She added, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, that her latest song met the expectation her fans in all over the Arab world, saying that it came to reflect the trends of the current era. She added that the traditional arts do not meet her aspiration, saying that she aspires to present different kinds of arts to meet the expectation of all categories of fans not only in the Arab world but also in all over the world.

She added that she is happy for this experience saying that she seeks to appear on the world stage through performing new kind of songs in English. She added that she exerts increasing efforts to achieve her dreams.
