Beirut - Michal Hadad

Lebanese singer Maia Diab confirmed what was published over the decision to prevent her from entering the American territories, saying that she learned about it a while ago when she submitted a request to the U.S embassy in Beirut to travel to the U.S, and they refused.

She added, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, “The decision was taken during the era of former President Barack Obama. I appealed President Donald Trump through Twitter to resolve this baseless issue. What are the evidences upon which I am accused of being a terrorist?”

She stressed her refusal to any attempts from anyone to interfere in her personal life, as she does not interfere in the affairs of others. She said, “It is normal to refuse the attempts to manipulate my life. It is not limited to a song or a video clip, while extends to my life as whole. I prefer to focus on my career and art.”
