11th December declared holiday for UAE financial markets
Celebrate the birthday anniversary of Prophet Mohammad.

The Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) has declared Sunday, 11th December, 2016, an official holiday for all UAE financial markets, except the Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange (DGCX), to celebrate the birthday anniversary of Prophet Mohammad.
Financial markets will resume work on Monday,12th December, the SCA said.
The SCA made the announcement as per Circular No. 40 of 2016, issued by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources for ministries and other federal departments.
Accordingly, DGCX will decide the holiday as per the requirements of work and public interest, the SCA said.
