Qasr al Hosn camel race festival on April 21

Under the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces has ordered the launch of Qasr Al Hosn Camel Race Festival on 21st of April. The event is part of the Qasr Al Hosn Festivities that celebrate 250th anniversary of Qasr Al Hosn. The prizes include 161 vehicles and cash for the top places in all categories. The Camel Race Association's participation in the race in the name of the festival, reflects the traditional value, which the camels occupy in terms of cultural and traditional heritage ever present in the people's souls. H H Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President and President of the Association has lauded the support and generosity of the President to the sports sector and sportspersons, stressing that this generosity has impacted positively on the development of the UAE in all fields, including the sports.
