Oman marks World Intellectual Property Day
Oman along with other countries will mark the World Intellectual Property Day this year celebrated under the

Oman along with other countries will mark the World Intellectual Property Day this year celebrated under the theme "Innovation: Improving Lives".
The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) explained in its message that it will view through this theme how the intellectual property system supports innovation by attracting investments and rewarding innovators, as well as encouraging them to develop their ideas and ensure that others access them free of charge, according to Oman News Agency (ONA).
On this occasion, the Sultanate's Research Council will organize a workshop on "Intellectual Property Education and Training," in cooperation with a number of relevant government agencies and institutions and the WIPO at the Ministry of Tourism building on April 26-27.
