Eleven passengers were killed and nine others sustained injuries when a van plunged into a ravine in Sher Bangal area of Upper Dir on Wednesday.
According to police sources, a passenger van fell off the road into a ravine that killed eight passengers on the spot while three others succumb to their injuries after reaching the hospital.
Nine injured persons are being treated at the hospital, Pakistan''s (Geo TV) reported. The accident occurred due to over speeding, sources said.
