Chairman the People's Assembly Mohammed Al-Nasser received on Wednesday the Portuguese Ambassador in Tunisia, confirming that the two counties have a strong relationship and a solid cooperation, and the parliament is willing to take extra steps to strengthen this relation even more.

Al-Nasser also received Chinese businessman ,head of GEDCO and chairman of China Cooperation Network ,Liu Jenna ,confirming the importance of the Chinese experience in Wind and Solar energy fields ,adding that the Tunisian climate is an undeniable force in this field , and it should be explored in every possible way to protect the environment.

He called for investment in Renewable energy industry through a joint partnership between China and Tunisia to create a global market ,highlighting the historical relations between the two countries , including its stand with Tunisia during the democratic transitional period .

The chairman of GEDCO welcomed the opportunity to invest in Tunisia through a triple cooperation with a European party , saying that Tunisia has all ingredients of success for excellence in the field of renewable energy.
