BBK Chief Executive Mr. Abdulkarim Bucheery presented BBK’s annual contribution to the Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Program (CPISP), praising HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, and First Deputy Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa’s vision to develop the talents and capabilities of Bahrain’s youth through education and training. Mr. Bucheery affirmed BBK’s keenness to support the CPISP and contribute to the development of Bahraini youth and the Kingdom.
Mr. Bucheery made these remarks during a meeting at his office at BBK headquarters where he received Advisor for Political and Economic Affairs at the Court of the Crown Prince and Board Member and Head of the Financial and Administrative Committee of the Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Program (CPISP) Sh. Mohammed bin Essa Al Khalifa, and presented him with a cheque for BD 200,000 marking BBK’s fifth payment of its BD one million pledge to the Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Program (CPISP) as a Platinum Sponsor.
Sh. Mohammed thanked BBK for its support and generous contribution to the Program, which aims to provide the best educational and training opportunities to outstanding Bahraini students to study at top international universities and prepare them for the demands of the international job market so that they can achieve their aspirations and contribute to Bahrain’s development. Sh. Mohammed also stressed the importance of the private sector in supporting HRH’s vision in support of youth development. Present at the meeting were BBK Support Group General Manager Mr. Jamal Hijris, BBK Head of Corporate Communication Ms. Rafa Kaddoura, and BBK Corporate Communication Specialist Mr. A.Rahman Danish.
