A Palestinian crashed a car into a bus stop at a tense junction in the occupied West Bank on Wednesday, wounding one person before soldiers opened fire and killed the assailant, Israel's military said.
The civilian wounded was taken for medical treatment, the army said. Medics said he was a 60-year-old man.
The incident occurred at a major junction near the Gush Etzion bloc of Israeli settlements in the West Bank outside Jerusalem.
