A Russian trade delegation headed by Russia's Deputy Minister of Economic Development Alexei Likhachev is currently visiting Yemen to get acquainted with the nature of investment opportunities in Yemen. The delegation includes number of representatives of some major oil, gas and electricity companies as well as investors and businessmen. The aim of the visit is to enhance the cooperation ties between the Yemeni-Russian private sectors' institutions. The commercial attaché at the Yemeni Embassy in Russia made clear that this visit comes in a response of President Abdo Rabu Mansour Hadi's invitation during his meeting with investors, businessmen as well as leaders of the Russian oil companies at his recent visit to Moscow, in which he invited those investors to return to Yemen to explore in oil and gas sectors.
