A royal approval was issued to form a committee to study the mechanism that would contribute to the reduction of losses and wastage in the food supply chain. This committee will be composed of a number of government agencies. This was announced by the Minister of Agriculture Dr Fahd bin Abdulrahman Balghunaim in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA). He expressed all success for the committee to meet the aspirations of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; his Crown Prince and the second deputy premier so as to serve the interest of the homeland and citizen.
