DUBAI: A pile of 40 foot containers at the backyard of Dubai International and Exhibition Centre, the venue of the Gitex Shopper and pick-up vehicles ferrying loads of assorted electronic gadgets bore testimony to the shopping spree at one of the most exclusive IT and Consumer Electronics show taking place in the region. The Gitex Shopper event entered its second day on Sunday with heavy human traffic converging at the newly located venue indicating that electronics merchandise being showcased are selling like hot cakes.
